About WWS
Things were growing quite well for David in 2016. He'd re-discovered a love of gardening and his small patch was booming. He'd spent months restoring the soil to a fairly healthy state, and was playing with different styles of gardening, old and new. His plants were bringing forth an abundance of food and he was actually seeing a possibility of breaking even on the garden he'd spent so much building.
But it was not to be.
Several months of dry weather (what Kiwi's laughingly call a "drought") brought an end to his crops. David is one of those weird people who would follow rules about water restrictions, keeping in mind that others need water more than him sometimes.
This got him to thinking about ways he could save water. By the time the drought had finished he'd attempted to use water from his kitchen and bathroom with mixed results (you also need to be mindful of the soaps and cleaners you use!).
From here he began playing with rain water harvesting systems, setting up small systems and testing ideas on how best to capture this abundant resource we so rapidly waste.

If you wish to join him on a journey to better care of our most precious yet most wasted resource, please make contact. He'll love it if you wish to purchase an installation from him, but he's also quite happy just to chat over a coffee, perhaps to convince you that we all need to do our bit to look after this natural resource.
After all, without water how could you enjoy a nice cup of your favourite brew?
